FAQ
How are the months and years counted?
The calculator walks the real calendar: it first counts full years, then full months, and whatever is left over becomes days. Month lengths and leap years are respected, and when the start day does not exist in the target month — say January 31 plus one month — it lands on the last day of February, the same convention banks and spreadsheets use.
Should I include the end date?
It depends on what you are counting. Monday to Friday is 4 days apart, but a hotel stay or a rental that covers both days spans 5. Tick the checkbox when the last day itself counts — every result then adds one day.
What if my end date is before the start date?
Nothing breaks — the calculator quietly compares the two in chronological order and says so in the status line. That also means you can count backwards, like how many days have passed since a past event.
